Hide description
Crafted in the sunny Southern Mediterranean, this Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is simply exquisite. Once you have tried it you will never go back to your old brand!

Where Does it Come From?

This delicately-flavored extra virgin olive oil is produced in chemical-free, constantly controlled olive fields in Tunisia, where olive oil has been produced for thousands of years, using the traditional and sustainable farming methods known to the Sfax region of the country. Besides producing the delectable olive oil, our producers are both environmentally and socially conscious; they strive for reducing their carbon footprint through recycling, process innovation, and packaging. Recognizing that nurturing the community of farmers and employees is as important as nurturing the olive fields themselves, our suppliers offer training, support education, sponsor civil associations, and engage with the community.

How is the oil processed?

Once the olives are handpicked from the trees, they are cold-pressed within 24 hours of harvest to maximize freshness and quality. Every batch is tested in a state-of-the-art laboratory with a panel of 8 certified tasters and third-party certifiers. The result is an extra virgin olive oil with a warm golden hue, a delicate taste, and a floral-olive smell.

The taste panel classifies the olive oils by fruitiness, bitterness, and pungency. Our olive oil has a maximum acidity of .8% (typically .4%) and is considered the cream of the crop. We chose this mild flavor for its delicious taste and versatility with other ingredients. We believe its smooth, delicate flavor makes it ideal for everyday cooking.

This high-quality, raw olive oil is packaged for our customers in dark-green glass containers and stored under organic sanitary conditions to maintain quality and freshness.

The ONLY olive oil I will buy

I read an article about olive oil several years ago (when the news was on the fake olive oils that litter store shelves) that one of the best olive oils you can buy is Wildly Natural (actually, the article said Wilderness Family Naturals - but they’ve since changed their name). So this is the olive oil I’ve been buying ever since and unless they change something, this is the one I will continue to buy. Great flavor, great packaging, great customer service.

Wonderfully Delicious

This olive oil tastes delicious! I use it in my homemade salad dressing and just love it. It's never bitter and it's so good to know it's the real thing. So much of the so called olive oils out there are tainted. Thank you, Wildly Organic, for providing a high quality olive oil for us!

Organic Extra ****** Olive Oil

I have used Wilderness Organic Olive Oil for several years now. It is great for cooking, but we especially love the flavor in our homemade salad dressings. I also used it in my pesto this summer with fresh basil from the garden...yummy!
