Certified Organic Pumpkin Seeds: Raw, Soaked, and Dried

The raw pumpkin seeds for sale from Wildly Organic are easy to incorporate for an extra boost of nutrition. You can eat them straight from the bag, grind them into nut butter, add them to salads, or blend them into smoothies! The seeds are activated through a low-temperature soaking and dehydrating process which gives them a perfect tender crunch while unlocking their full nutrition potential.

Pumpkin seeds, also known as pepitas, are flat, dark green seeds. Pumpkins are from the same family as cantaloupe, cucumber, and squash. Pumpkin seeds are subtly sweet, slightly nutty, and should have a light crunch. The raw pumpkin seeds from Wildly Organic are always of the highest quality. We use vapor-barrier packaging to preserve freshness, ensuring you get the best product possible.

You can find our pumpkin seeds for sale in small and bulk quantities. They are unsalted and clean with no shells or added ingredients.

What Are the Benefits of Soaking and Dehydrating Seeds?

Sally Fallon and the Weston A. Price Foundation suggest that nuts be soaked and then dehydrated at low temperatures — here’s why:

Phytic acid occurs naturally in seeds, and it protects them until they’re ready for germination. Unfortunately, phytic acid binds to certain minerals and transforms into a phytate, which inhibits your body’s ability to absorb some of the seed’s nutrients.

After several cycles of soaking and rinsing, and allowing the seeds a little bit of air, germination will occur. This starts to break down the enzyme inhibitors as the seeds release their protective shield and unlock stored nutrients to prepare for growth. This process creates what some refer to as "activated seeds."

Once the soaking process is complete, we dehydrate the seeds slowly at a very low temperature to extend the shelf life and give them a delicate crunch. This low-heat method will preserve the nutrients and ensure that these pumpkin seeds for sale remain entirely raw.

Wondering where to buy activated nuts and seeds besides pepitas? Wildly Organic also sells activated walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pistachios, pecans, chia seeds, cashews, brazil nuts, and mixed varieties.

Organic Pumpkin Seeds

The pumpkin seeds are amazing! The flavor is fantastic! I love the way they are crunchy - and best of all they seem especially healthy for my family to eat since they have been soaked and dried. We use them in salads, in “energy balls,” and the kids love snacking on them!

Love them

Recently tried the pumpkin seeds again. I regularly order the almond and pecans and sunflower seeds. I love these in my yogurt. Will definitely keep ordering them. :-)

Raw, Soaked and Dried Pumpkin Seeds

They taste great with the distinct flavor of the nut. Will buy again. Thankful there is the opportunity to purchase nuts that are prepared to be digested more easily.
