Lovely oil

Absolutely blown away that there is no coconut smell or taste! And it fries very well. I’ve used it for frying eggs, steak, and putting in my oatmeal when I don’t want the coconut taste.

How Is Our Refined Coconut Oil Made?

1. Organic coconuts are opened and quickly dried.

2. The dried coconuts are mechanically pressed to remove the oil. (No chemical solvents are used at any time during the process.)

3. Any free fatty acids in the oil are removed.

4. The oil is run through diatomaceous earth and is steam distilled. This results in a pure, uncontaminated coconut oil, which is commonly sold as expeller-pressed coconut oil.

This clear, delicious oil is the crème de la crème of refined coconut oil for frying — it’s the envy of chefs and bakers all over the world. Wildly Organic customers and staff have fallen in love with it, and we’re positive that you will, too!

Did You Know?

This coconut oil expeller was once only marketed to high-end restaurants and bakeries in Europe until it was discovered by Wildly Organic. Then we made it available to everyone! Use expeller-pressed coconut oil to make flaky pastries, crusts, baked goods, and so much more. This refined coconut oil supersedes all others.

Refined Coconut Oil vs. Virgin Coconut Oil

Although this tasteless coconut oil is less expensive than virgin coconut oil, you’ll find it holds up to the highest standards. When it comes to exceptional coconut oil, it’s the clearest, cleanest, and best quality in the world.

Unlike expeller-pressed coconut oil, which has a neutral aroma, virgin coconut oil has a pronounced coconut aroma and flavor. Use it for beauty products and as a moisturizer for your skin and hair.

How Is Refined Coconut Oil Made?

Most coconut oils on the market labeled as “refined” are produced by pressing the oil out from the dried coconut meat using a coconut oil expeller and then processing it through bleaching and chemical refining. However, Wildly Organic’s coconut oil is mechanically extracted without the use of chemical solvents.

Can I Use Refined Coconut Oil for Frying?

Coconut oil is one of the healthiest oils for cooking. It has a high smoke point and can be used for frying, baking, and sautéing. If you don’t want the characteristic coconut flavor in your recipes, choose a refined oil. Find more organic cooking oils here to explore all your options.

Which Coconut Oil Is Best for Hair?

If you’re looking for a nourishing hair oil, then virgin and extra virgin coconut oil are the best choices as they’re not only moisturizing but also rich in many nutrients that support healthy hair. However, if you don’t like the strong aroma of coconut, an expeller-pressed coconut oil would also make a fantastic choice.

Is Refined Coconut Oil a Good Canola Oil Substitute?

Yes, pure coconut oil can be an excellent 1:1 substitute for canola oil for high-heat cooking and baking. However, coconut oil has a distinctive taste that can change the flavor of the end product so if you’re looking for a flavorless option, consider this refined coconut oil for frying.
