The #1 Centrifugal Extraction Coconut Oil

Wildly Organic’s centrifuged coconut oil differs from most other coconut oils. Made from freshly pressed coconut cream, it passes through a series of centrifuges to ensure coconut oil centrifugal separation to get the coconut oil away from other components of the cream. The result is a pure, isolated oil that is creamy and smooth with a very mild, light coconut aroma and taste.

I love this coconut oil. I put a big spoonful in my tea or coffee every morning. I do oil pulling with it and use it to remove my makeup. It’s a great moisturizer too.

How Wildly Organic's Oil Is Made – What Makes It Different and Better!

Our organic centrifuged coconut oil is one-of-a-kind. It’s the best centrifuge-extracted coconut oil for skin and hair health. Here’s our detailed extraction method:

  • Press

With centrifugal extraction coconut oil, we first press the fresh, white flesh of the coconut to get a coconut cream or milk. After shelling the coconut, it takes less than 45 minutes to produce the cream. This cream is approximately 40% oil. We closely monitor the temperatures of the coconut flesh and the resulting coconut cream emulsion to ensure they do not exceed 120° F.

  • Centrifuge

Next, we separate this coconut cream into its oil and water components with the help of centrifuges. Several passes through different centrifuges are needed to isolate pure and organic centrifuged coconut oil, but the result is fabulous!

  • Vacuum

Lastly, a slight vacuum is placed on the coconut oil to remove any remaining traces of moisture. After removing all the moisture, manufacturers package the oil into new food-grade stainless steel drums for shipment to the US. Raw coconut oil is generally as clear as spring water when it’s in a liquid state and pure white when it’s in a solid state.

Centrifuge-extracted coconut oil is typically considered one of the highest-quality coconut oils. However, centrifugation is also one of the most expensive extraction methods.

Many brands use the term "extra virgin” for their coconut oil. Although the industry does not recognize that term when applied to coconut oil specifically, our cold centrifuge coconut oil would be the closest thing to centrifuged coconut oil.

Taste Testing vs. Other Coconut Oils

Because of its mild, light coconut taste, our centrifugal extraction coconut oil consistently rates number one every time as the best unrefined coconut oil for skin, hair, and cooking; however, many believe that Wildly Organic’s Cold-Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil rivals it.

The main difference between the two oils is the taste/flavor of the cold-pressed virgin coconut oil, which is generally more pronounced than the flavor of our centrifuge-extracted coconut oil.

The Selection Process

In blindfold taste tests with a selected panel, we have now sampled over 50 different extra virgin coconut oils. We initially sold a traditional Philippine virgin coconut oil made by fermentation. Then, we sold a South Pacific virgin coconut oil (DME, direct micro-expeller extracted). We have also sold cold centrifuge coconut oils from other sources.

Over the years, we discontinued carrying many of these oils after discovering better quality centrifuged coconut oil.

Only the Best

It is vital to us to know which oils come out the winner in blindfold taste tests. In addition, we look at laboratory analysis data and certificates of analysis on every batch submitted to us.

We strive to only carry the highest quality virgin coconut oils with the maximum available shelf life.

Taste the Difference of Superior Coconut Oil

This raw centrifugal extraction coconut oil is excellent to use on your skin and hair! Many people prefer our centrifuged coconut oil for their skin and hair because:

  • It’s made from coconut cream.
  • It has a mild, light aroma – so they smell less like coconut!
  • It leaves a smooth and creamy feel on the skin.
  • It's organic and doesn’t expose their bodies to pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified ingredients.
  • It's made at low temperatures and is unrefined, raw, and virgin.

Our customers often use this centrifuge-extracted coconut oil with essential oils for skin benefits, and others use it in the shower as a hair conditioner. Give Wildly Organic’s centrifuged coconut oil a try today and get a free online cookbook when you sign up for our email updates.

How Does Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Differ from Regular Coconut Oil?

The extraction method differentiates extra virgin and regular coconut oils. Extra virgin oil is extracted from fresh coconut meat using a centrifuge. Meanwhile, producers extract regular coconut oil using heat or chemical treatment.

Can I Use Raw Organic Coconut Oil on My Face?

Unrefined coconut oil has antibacterial, soothing, and moisturizing properties. You can apply our centrifugal coconut oil to the face as a moisturizer or a cleanser to remove makeup. However, if you have acne-prone skin, it’s generally not recommended, as it can clog pores and cause breakouts.

What Is Centrifuged Coconut Oil Good For?

Extra virgin oils of coconut are an excellent choice of medium-heat cooking oil. They also contain many healing and moisturizing properties, making them suitable for cosmetic purposes such as skin and hair care.

Can We Apply Raw Organic Coconut Oil to Hair?

Yes! Our centrifuge-extracted coconut oil is excellent for your hair’s health. It’s a natural conditioner that can prevent split ends, dullness, and hair fall due to protein loss. With regular use, your hair may become noticeably lustrous and strong.

When Should I Use Each Kind of Coconut Oil?

Those who enjoy the flavor of coconuts and like to eat raw coconut oil or add it to desserts for a boost of coconut flavor may prefer cold-pressed coconut oil. Those who use centrifuged coconut oil in various applications and want a milder coconut flavor usually prefer cold centrifuge coconut oil.
