Our raw sunflower seeds pack a punch! Loaded with micronutrients, Wildly Organic’s sunflower seeds are activated through a low-temperature soaking and dehydrating process that unlocks their full nutrition potential and gives them a delicate crunch.

Our soaked sunflower seeds are perfect for adding a nutritional boost to your salads, desserts, smoothies, and savory dishes. You can grab them off the shelf and eat straight from the bag or paired with organic dried fruit for a nutritious snack.

Benefits Of Raw Sunflower Seeds

Supportive but inconclusive research has shown that eating 1.5 ounces per day of sunflower seeds may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, when part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol and not resulting in increased intake of saturated fat or calories. How We Activate Sunflower Seeds

Phytic acid occurs naturally in nuts and seeds. It protects them until they’re ready for germination. Unfortunately, phytic acid binds to certain minerals, transforming into a phytate. This compound can inhibit your body’s ability to absorb nutrients from the organic sunflower seeds. “Activating” them can help.

These sunflower seeds are “activated” using a soaking and low temperature dehydrating method in our facility. Soaking them breaks down phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that may interfere with nutrient absorption.

We then dehydrate the soaked sunflower seeds at low temperatures to preserve nutrients, micro-nutrients and enzymes. The end result is crispy, great-tasting raw seeds. We also take extra measures, such as excellent quality control, cool storage and vapor barrier packaging to preserve freshness and ensure that you receive only the best.

Still curious about our sunflower seeds? Continue to our FAQs to learn more about them.

Why are organic sunflower seeds better?

Organic nuts and seeds are better than their non-organic counterparts because they are grown without synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, according to strict farming standards. Plus, they are non-GMO and generally safer and healthier for your body. Not to mention they taste amazing!

Does soaking sunflower seeds remove their nutrients?

No, soaking raw sunflower seeds does not remove their nutrients. It actually enhances nutrient absorption by reducing their phytic acid and making them more bioavailable and easier to digest.

Are sunflower seeds good for you?

Yes, sunflower seeds may be beneficial as they contain nutrients like vitamin E, magnesium, and healthy fats. Including them in your diet may help improve cardiovascular health, immune system, brain function, and skin health.

How many raw sunflower seeds can I eat per day?

You can eat an ounce of these nutritious seeds daily in a balanced diet. Studies show that adding these healthy seeds to your routine may help control your blood sugar and improve your overall health.
