Where Does Wildly Organic Cold-Pressed Olive Oil Come From?

Our organic olive oil is made in Tunisia's chemical-free, closely monitored olive fields. The best extra virgin olive oil has been produced here for thousands of years using sustainable and traditional farming practices that are familiar to the Sfax region of the nation.

Besides crafting superior cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, our producers are dedicated to reducing their environmental impact and supporting social causes by recycling, employing innovative techniques, and using responsible packaging.

Recognizing that nurturing the community of farmers and employees is as important as nurturing the olive fields themselves, our suppliers offer training, support education, sponsor civil associations, and engage with the community.

How Is the Oil Processed?

If you want to change to a healthier cooking oil, our cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil is the answer! Organic olive oil has many healthful advantages that all stem from how it is processed.

After harvesting from the trees, the olives are cold-pressed within 24 hours to maintain freshness and quality. Every batch undergoes testing in a fully equipped laboratory by a panel of 8 certified tasters and an independent certifier.

The result is pure, raw olive oil with a warm golden hue, a delicate taste, and a floral olive smell.

What is the difference between organic cold-pressed olive oil and regular olive oil?

The difference between regular olive oil and EVOO is in their extraction process. A lot of companies heat and refine olives to extract regular olive oil. However, we cold-press our olives to produce unrefined oil with a better flavor and higher quality.

What is cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil used for?

You can use pure olive oil in any of your favorite recipes. This oil’s healthy fats and antioxidants may offer your body numerous benefits. Its smoke point is around 350 to 410 degrees. You can use it for frying, baking, roasting, or making a delicious salad dressing. You can even use olive oil for natural skincare!

How long does extra virgin organic olive oil last?

Bottled olive oil can stay good for 18-24 months. It’s best to buy olive oil within 12-18 months of its production date and use it within six months after opening. So don’t keep your olive oil only for special dishes. Use it to make every dish special.

Is raw olive oil healthy?

Cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil may be one of the healthiest cooking oils for higher cooking temperatures. Studies show that organic olive oil may reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, and dementia in frequent consumers. The monounsaturated fat found in olive oil, called oleic acid, makes up 73% of the oil content and has been linked to reduced inflammation. It may even have beneficial effects on cancer.

We run tests for general quality parameters, fatty acid composition, and sterols. We do not regularly test our organic cold-pressed olive oil for polyphenols. The average range of polyphenol content of our Tunisian cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, when tested, is between 250 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg. Under the EU Regulation 432/2012, approved health claims, olive oils with a count above 250 are considered high in polyphenols.

Which olive oil is best for cholesterol?

Research suggests that EVOO may be the best oil for those concerned about their cholesterol levels. This oil is rich in polyphenols that may support healthy cholesterol levels by reducing LDL oxidation. Choose EVOO if you’re worried about your heart health, but remember that individual responses may vary. Consult your physician for additional information.

Why is cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil more expensive?

The extraction process for this oil is more laborious. It requires the highest quality olives, careful harvesting, and good handling. All of that will take its toll in terms of cost, but the result will be a superior olive oil with its nutrients preserved and a smooth taste worth its price tag.

Does raw olive oil taste good?

Organic cold-pressed olive oil is fresh-tasting and has a little bit of a fruity flavor of all things good and green, like green apples, green tea, and artichokes. This flavor is very useful to add to any dip, salad, or marinade.
