Hide description
Wildly Organic Walnuts are made up of premium grade, full halves without pieces. If you’ve had trouble finding good tasting organic walnuts year-round in the past, try these. Through selecting only the best nut and handling each one with care, we’re able to offer the freshest, most delicious product all year!

We do our best to procure the best, most delicious, and freshest walnuts available. They are activated through a low-temperature soaking and dehydrating process which unlocks their full nutrition potential and a delicate crunch.

Scientific evidence suggests but does not prove that eating 1.5 ounces per day of most nuts such as walnuts as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease. See nutrition information for fat content.

What are the Benefits of Soaking and Dehydrating Nuts?

Sally Fallon and the Weston A. Price Foundation suggests that nuts be soaked and then dehydrated at low temperatures—here’s why:

Phytic acid occurs naturally in nuts, and it protects them until they’re ready for germination. Unfortunately, phytic acid binds to certain minerals and transforms into a phytate, which inhibits your body’s ability to absorb some of the nut’s nutrients.

After several cycles of soaking and rinsing and allowing the nuts a little bit of air, germination will occur. This starts to break down the enzyme inhibitors as the nuts release their protective shield and unlock stored nutrients to prepare for growth. This process creates what some refer to as "activated nuts."

Once the soaking process is complete, we dehydrate the nuts slowly at a very low temperature to extend the shelf life and give them a delicate crunch. The low-heat method will preserve the nutrients and ensure that the nuts remain entirely raw.

Optimized Walnuts

Soaked and dried to remove harmful phytates that slow down the absorption of minerals including zinc which is critical in fighting viruses. I use these walnuts to make the crust for my Instant Pot cheesecakes.

Best Ever

These are the freshest and most tastiest walnuts our family has ever eaten. My husband didn’t even like walnuts until he tried these. They are pricey but well worth it.

The best

After eating these walnuts for some years it’s hard to eat regular organic walnuts when they are out of stock at Wildly Organic. The flavor, texture and benefits of having been soaked is the best.
