Moroccan Chicken Dinner {Gluten-free, Healthy}

Fill your house this fall with this aromatic and warm Moroccan Chicken dinner. A twist to the classical Moroccan Chicken, this recipe is made with organic dried mangoes and organic almond butter from Wildly Organic and with warm Moroccan spices. This delicious dinner is gluten-free, healthy, and super easy to make. It’s perfect for your entire family and your dinner guests.

The first time I made this Moroccan Chicken, it was a crisp fall day. The whole house filled with this sweet inviting smell that attracted the family to the kitchen wondering what I was cooking. The dinner turned delicious and was a hit. Everyone had seconds, and some even had thirds! What I love about this recipe is that it is so easy to make; you can pretty much throw the ingredients together in a pot or dutch oven and let it cook at slow temperature, without needing much attention.

The main ingredients that makes this Moroccan Chicken dinner taste amazing:

Wildly Organic Dried Mangoes – A twist from the Moroccan traditional recipe, the dried mango gives a unique and sweet taste to this meal.     Ingredients
    Instructions
    1. Dice the onion and add to a saucepan or a Dutch oven with 2-3 Tablespoon of Wildly Organic Olive Oil.
    2. Saute the onions until translucent.
    3. Meanwhile, dice the Wildly Organic Mangoes.
    4. Add the water or chicken stock, chicken thighs, chickpeas, dried mangoes and golden raisins.
    5. Add the salt, cinnamon, turmeric, Wildly Organic Paprika, honey, and Wildly Organic Almond Butter.
    6. Cook on low heat for about 45 mins to 1 hr, using a meat thermometer to insure the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
    7. Serve over rice, quinoa, or mashed potatoes.
