Organic Walnuts: Soaked, Dried, Certified Organic, Raw Walnuts
Wildly Organic walnuts are premium grade, full halves. We purchase our walnuts directly from a family farm in California and they represent the highest quality organic walnuts for sale available. These nuts are “activated” using a soaking and low-temperature dehydrating method in our facility.
By soaking nuts, phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that may interfere with nutrient absorption are broken down. We then dehydrate our walnuts at low temperatures to preserve those enzymes, nutrients, and micro-nutrients. This also makes our nuts crispy and taste great. We go the extra mile to ensure our walnuts are made under quality control practices. Our walnuts are placed in cool storage and we use vapor barrier packaging to help preserve their freshness and ensure that you receive only the best walnuts!
Wildly Organic Walnuts arrive ready-to-use in 4.5 ounce and 1 pound vapor-barrier, resealable packaging to maintain freshness. 25 pounds available in a plastic bag (with no branding), zip-tied, and boxed. Packaging may include an oxygen absorber.

What Makes Our Activated Raw Walnuts Special?
Scientific evidence* suggests that eating 1.5 ounces of nuts per day as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol helps reduce the risk of heart disease over time. At Wildly Organic, we work hard to procure the best and freshest organic walnuts available.
Walnuts and other nuts contain a natural substance called phytic acid that helps protect them while they are growing on the tree. But, once they grow and mature, phytic acid combines with other minerals in the plant. It turns into phytate which blocks your system’s ability to absorb all of those incredible nut nutrients.
We believe that produce is healthiest when it’s in its natural state. This is why we “activate” our walnuts before they’re packaged. This helps unlock their full nutrition potential — eliminating phytate so you can absorb those nutrients — and adds a delicate crunch to them, yielding deliciously healthy raw walnuts.
To ensure you receive the best product possible, we take extra measures, like investing in stringent quality control, cool storage, and vapor barrier packaging to preserve freshness. They are high in copper and manganese, and they are a good source of magnesium and phosphorous.
What Are the Benefits of Soaking and Dehydrating Walnuts?
Best-selling nutritional cookbook writer, Sally Fallon, and the Weston A. Price Foundation suggest that nuts be soaked and then dehydrated at low temperatures to retain their full nutritional content.
