You’ll need a few pantry staples from Wildly Organic
- Himalayan Pink Salt – Wildly Organic’s Pink Sea Salt is a pantry staple that I just can’t live without. It is a pure unrefined “raw” sea salt that can be used in many gourmet applications including seasoning, brining, and baking.
- Organic Avocado Oil – Avocado oil and coconut oil are the go-to oils in our house. Avocado oil makes the ideal vegetable oil alternative.
How to get crispy sweet potato fries
Pro Tip: The key to crispy homemade sweet potato fries is letting them dry out after cutting and not overcrowding your baking sheet. Oh, and don’t forget to flip halfway! When you do these three things your fries will be baked to crispy perfection. No one likes soggy fries.

Don’t forget to make a side of fries and I’m not talking about the frozen kind! Once you make these, you’ll never go back to the packaged kind.
- 2-4 sweet potatoes
- 1tbsp Wildly Organic Avocado Oil
- 1tsp paprika
- desired amount of sea salt & pepper
-
Preheat oven to 425F.
-
Cut potatoes in half lengthwise, then cut each side in half, again, before slicing to look like "shoestring" fries. Using a dishtowel, pat dry. Do this for roughly 5-10 minutes. You want them as dry as possible.
-
In a medium bowl, toss potatoes, avocado oil, paprika, salt & pepper. Place evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Make sure there is only one layer.
-
Place on the middle rack in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes. You'll want to check them for around 20 minutes and flip.
-
Let fries cool slightly and enjoy!
