Coconut powder has many uses! We like it as a substitute for traditional cow’s milk and use it in desserts, smoothies, side dishes, and puddings. It can be used in curries for extra creaminess and to give anything extra healthy fats.

Dried coconut milk powder contains fats and sugars that are found in coconuts, and it’s typically used as a shelf-stable substitute for milk. Coconut flour, on the other hand, has had all of the fats and liquid removed. Therefore, coconut flour and powder are not the same and cannot be used in place of one another.

It can be! Coconut has many healthy fats. It also has minerals like potassium and calcium, which our body needs to stay healthy. Use it in healthy dishes like chickpea curries, or add it to your morning smoothies.

No. Coconut milk is coconut flesh blended with water. Coconut cream powder is pure coconut without added liquids. The fruit has been dehydrated into a fine coconut milk powder that is much more concentrated than coconut milk.
