The Cajun Nuts Recipe

Wildly Organic cashews, pecans, and walnuts are the stars of this spicy roasted nuts recipe. They’re certified organic and are soaked and dehydrated to preserve their natural flavor and nutrition!

Using a variety of nuts in this recipe will also give you the most nutrient hit. While each nut is a healthy fat in itself, they’re all slightly different in their vitamin and mineral profile. So, consuming a few different types is the best way to go.

This spicy Cajun roasted nuts recipe uses simple, everyday spices to keep the nuts bursting with flavor and still beneficial to you.

If you haven’t heard of Cajun seasoning before, it’s a seasoning blend that uses paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper, along with a few other spices to create a zesty spice mix with a little heat.

It’s no secret how potent garlic can be, which is why garlic powder is the base of this homemade spice mix. It’s antibacterial and can help boost your immune system, right along with the cayenne pepper!

Many people avoid cayenne pepper as they think it makes everything red hot. Used in small amounts though, cayenne gives a tasty flavor without burning off your tongue.

These Cajun roasted nuts definitely have a kick to them but they’re not overpowering. The cayenne gives them some heat, but the salt makes you want more.

Use these Cajun roasted nuts as a snack all on their own for movie night or when watching a sports game. Or, pair it with a piece of fruit for a quick snack when you’re on the go. Either way, whip up a batch and try not to eat them all!
