Sugar-Free & Low-Carb Coconut Lime Kefir Pops
If you have picky eaters, it feels like you win the lottery when you come up with something they love, right?
Well, I just “hit the lottery” with these easy Sugar-Free and Low-Carb Coconut Lime Kefir Pops!
And I’m sharing it with you, Picky Eater Moms, because we need all the help we can get!
Sugar-Free & Low-Carb Coconut Lime Kefir Pops
These sugar-free and low-carb Coconut Lime Kefir Pops win in all the categories:
- No artificial colors, flavorings, or preservatives
- Naturally sweetened — no refined sugars
- Probiotics for a healthy gut
- Creamy, dreamy, tropical island flavor
- Quick and easy to make (not including freezing time, of course)
They also win in the most important category — harmonious agreement!
My daughter does not like kefir. My son does not like coconut. Or I should say they used to not like those things. I’m not sure how I got my kiddos to try these kefir pops but after one taste they both agreed – they’re delicious!
I think Sister and Mister were just so excited to have popsicles in the house they were willing to try anything Either way – yay for one healthy recipe they both love!
How To Sweeten These Coconut Lime Kefir Pops
If you want creamy, white, sugar-free kefir pops, you’ll want to use Wildly Organic’s Coco Monkey, stevia, or another white or light-colored natural sugar alternative. Just be sure to use an equivalent amount of alternative natural sweetener. It’s always best to start with a small amount and add more if needed.
If a whole sweetener is ok for you, then Wildly Organic’s Coconut Syrup is a wonderful, tasty option. Just know it will make your kefir pops a (lovely) golden color, and they will no longer be sugar-free or low-carb.
Since our BPA-free popsicle molds are a fun new addition to our kitchen, we’ll be making lots of popsicles this summer. My kiddos have already made it known they want these Sugar-Free Coconut Lime Kefir Pops OFTEN and I’m happy to oblige.
Mister gets the goodness of coconut. Sister gets the probiotics she needs. Mom only has to make one recipe. That’s definitely a win!

Do you make your own popsicles? Have you tried making kefir pops before?
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 2/3cup Wildly Organic Coconut Milk Powder
- 2cups thick plain kefir
- 1tablespoon fresh lime juiceone small lime
- 1/2 to 3/4cup Wildly Organic Coco Monkeyor desired sweetener to taste
- 1/2teaspoon pure vanilla extract
-
In a 3 cup glass measure cup or bowl with a pouring spout, whisk together the hot water and WO Coconut Milk Powder until completely smooth.
-
Add remaining ingredients and whisk well to combine.
-
Taste for sweetness and adjust as needed.
-
Pour mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
Be sure to use a thick kefir. Thinner kefir might cause the mixture to separate as it sits in the freezer.
Do not substitute 1/2 cup of stevia for the 1/2 cup of Coco Monkey. If just using a pure stevia extract, start with a small amount (1/32 teaspoon) and taste before adding more.
Recipe makes about 3 cups of mixture which will make 6 pops if your molds hold 1/2 cup each. Increase as needed for more pops.
