4-Ingredient Chocolate Pecan Bark
Candy and chocolate aren’t requirements for expressing love… but they sure don’t hurt, do they?
This chocolate pecan bark is sure to please your love.
And it proves that it’s not impossible to create a decadent indulgence you can feel good about.
Make it yourself in less than an hour with just 4 wholesome ingredients!
4-Ingredient Chocolate Pecan Bark
Chocolate bark is the simplest of all candies to make.
Simply pour melted chocolate over nuts or dried fruit, let it harden, and your homemade candy is ready. For this homemade bark, however, we’re going to make our own chocolate.
With a bit of preparation, you’ll see just how quickly this recipe comes together.
- Have the nuts chopped and the pan lined before even beginning to melt the cacao butter.
- Clean out a spot in the refrigerator for the pan to rest after pouring.
Use-What-You-Have Variations
Chopped pecans are used in this bark, yet any chopped nuts would work. (Of course, we recommend all of Wildly Organic’s soaked and dried nuts!)
Add different baking extracts for different flavors. Vanilla is included and delicious for almost everything, however; use a mint extract for chocolate mint bark or add almond extract and chopped almonds for the almond lover in your life. Add rum extract with raisins for another twist.
Chocolate bark isn’t designed to be a fancy truffle. The bark is homespun and crafted to be slightly quirky. Embrace jagged edges and uneven sizes. What it lacks in fancy it makes up for in deliciousness.
To give the bark to someone you love, simply toss pieces into a resealable bag or canning jar. Include a heartfelt love note, too. Because it needs refrigeration, this is not a candy for the mail, but it is perfect for hand-delivering to all the special people in your life.
