Sautéed garlic mushrooms are a simple to make, real-food based side dish that makes the perfect addition to your dinner menu! Loaded with healthy, nutrient-dense mushrooms and flavored with garlic, you can pair this easy side dish with any protein for a complete meal.

    Ingredients
    Instructions
    1. Heat a large pan over medium heat.
    2. While the pan is heating, toss the mushrooms and garlic in a large bowl with the melted coconut oil until coated.
    3. Add in the remaining ingredients and toss well. Place all contents into the pan (making sure to scrape the bowl for all the flavor!) and cover with a lid.
    4. Cook over medium heat tossing the mushrooms every couple of minutes.
    5. When the mushrooms begin to sizzle (about ten minutes) remove the cover on the pan. All the liquid will be coming out of the mushrooms. Continue to cook, uncovered as the liquid reduces and the mushrooms start to brown, about ten more minutes, making sure to stir the mushrooms every few minutes.
    6. When most of the liquid is gone and the mushrooms are slightly browned, remove from the heat and serve immediately.
