5-Ingredient Chocolate Pudding

Back to school never tasted so good! With all the commotion of getting organized for back to school, it’s sometimes easy to overlook wholesome snacks. In fact, reaching for store-bought snacks looks pretty good in comparison with the to-do list!

However, this 5-ingredient chocolate pudding has no added sugar and is so easy to make! You’ll love serving this yummy gluten-free and vegan chocolate pudding to your kids!

5-Ingredient Chocolate Pudding Recipe

This chocolate pudding recipe is simple to whip up and tastes more like an indulgence than a wholesome snack.

With only five ingredients, moms can whip it up the night before and have it ready to pack for lunches the next morning or have it ready and waiting as an after-school indulgence.

The homemade chocolate pudding contains both energy-boosting ingredients as well as energy stabilizing ingredients. Meaning, there shouldn’t be too much of a sugar crash.

Using bananas as a base not only makes this chocolate pudding creamy but also means there’s no need for additional sugar. The trick with the pudding though is to let the bananas ripen until they’re a bit brown. The longer a banana ripens for, the sweeter it is!

However, here’s a trick. If you need bananas to ripen quickly, put them in the fridge!

This homemade pudding also has the perk of using Wildly Organic Fermented Cacao Powder, which is Fair Trade Certified through Fair Trade America. Cacao powder has more calcium than cows’ milk and is loaded with antioxidants. As I said, this isn’t your average pudding!

If you haven’t rocked cacao powder, you’re missing out on some serious chocolate. It can be used in everything from smoothies to brownies, puddings, and fudge. It’s nutritionally dense and only as sweet as you make it. Wildly Organic Almond Butter and canned coconut milk give this chocolate pudding a dose of healthy fats and nutrients.

It’s not often that moms want their kids to have chocolate but in this instance, it’s definitely a good thing. This wholesome chocolate pudding puts pudding cups to shame when it comes to health benefits.
