Chocolate Cherry Snack Mix Recipe

This chocolate cherry snack mix uses tart dried cherries, cacao powder, coconut sugar to keep this mix sweet and tart.

Chocolate Cherry Snack Mix
This chocolate cherry snack mix is great to keep on hand for busy days, after school snacks or if you’re heading out for a quick hike. It would even be great to put in a bowl for having company over. It’s a simple, no bake recipe that keeps you full, fueled and always wanting more! Everyone loves a little chocolate!

    Cook Time5 minutes

    Ingredients
    Instructions
    1. Line a cutting board or baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
    2. In a bowl, combine the cherries, walnuts, coconut chips and pumpkin seeds and mix. Set aside.
    3. In a small pot, place the coconut oil and heat over low.
    4. Once melted, whisk in the cacao powder, sugar and salt. Turn off the heat and keep whisking until most of the sugar is dissolved.
    5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cherry walnut mix and stir until everything is coated.
    6. Pour the contents of the bowl onto the parchment paper using a spatula to get all the chocolate!
    7. Place in the freezer for thirty minutes.
    8. Remove from the freezer and break into pieces.
    9. Place in a jar and store in the fridge to munch on. If left at room temperature for a long time, the chocolate will begin to melt. This recipe is best stored cold.
