Is there anything that chocolate doesn’t pair well with? If you’re not sure, the answer is “no”. I promise you, chocolate can be added to absolutely anything and it will be better… especially cookies!

These chocolate almond coconut cookies are gluten free, dairy free and insanely addictive. They make a great dessert to share or to hoard in your freezer and eat yourself!

Benefits of Cacao Powder

Chocolate can come in many forms, but the least processed is always best. Enter cacao powder. Cacao powder is chocolate in one of its purest forms and thus it contains a host of benefits. Adding it to your diet actually boosts your health! Cacao powder is full of calcium, antioxidants, and magnesium – so eat all the chocolate!

But like most ingredients, quality matters. Using Wildly Organic Fermented Cacao Powder gives you all the perks of raw chocolate while making any recipe taste decadent. Paired with the right sweeteners (in this case raw honey and Wildly Organic Coconut Sugar), it makes every recipe taste delicious.

Chocolate Almond Coconut Cookies Recipe

These chocolate almond coconut cookies are gluten free, dairy free and filled with healthy fats. They’re both addictive but filling thanks to almonds.

Wildly Organic Almond Flour makes a great base for baked goods (though beware… it’s not always directly interchangeable with flour!) because it boosts the nutritional value of a recipe. Almonds contain calcium, fiber, magnesium and Vitamin E – all great reasons to add more into your diet. These cookies may be a treat, but they also contain quality, real food based ingredients.

In additional to almond flour, there’s also Wildly Organic Almond Butter in this recipe. Almond butter helps give the cookies a chewy texture and flavor while binding the ingredients.

Since these cookies contain minimal sugars, they also make a great dessert option for kids! These chocolate almond coconut cookies are loaded with healthy nutrients in addition to being chocolate flavored. Basically, it’s a win for the parents and for the kids.

Whip up a double batch and store half in the freezer- trust me, you won’t want to share them all!
