Frozen Coconut Limeade Coolers Recipe
These refreshing tropical drinks are made using simple ingredients like fresh lime juice, canned coconut milk, and a secret, real food ingredient: Wildly Organic Coco Monkey Sweetener!
Coco Monkey powder is a low-calorie and organic sweetener made from organic inulin. It comes with no artificial after taste and you only need a little bit to sweeten whatever you’re making. It’s fantastic in homemade drink recipes like these frozen coolers.
In addition to drinks and smoothies, this sweetener is amazing in dessert recipes or homemade ice cream.
This frozen coconut limeade is perfect for adults and kids alike because it’s utterly refreshing. Fresh lime gives it a zesty pick me up, feel while the slushie itself is cooling.
One thing to note is to use full-fat coconut milk from a can and not the carton. Carton-based coconut milk has a lot of other ingredients in them to keep them liquid.
When using canned coconut milk you get a naturally sweeter flavor and the slushie will keep its texture. Using the milk from a carton would give this summertime drink more of a smoothie texture, which still will taste good but not exactly what we’re going for here.
This coconut lime slushy brings a bit of a tropical tastiness your way when it’s nicely hot outside. With only four ingredients it’s easy to whip up and perfectly refreshing. Perfect for sunny days by the pool or just lounging in the yard. These frozen coconut limeade coolers come with all the cooling properties of the traditional store-bought kind but without all the sugar!
