These healthy and nutritious Quinoa Chocolate Protein Bars are a delicious blend of chocolate and superfoods. They are high in protein and rich in fiber. It’s chewy yet crunchy in every bite and with a hint of delicious chocolate syrup.

It’s a delectable post-workout recovery snack and great for on the go. You’ll love them because there is no added sugar and they are made with natural and real ingredients.

Ingredients for Quinoa Chocolate Protein Bars

Quinoa Flakes – A whole grain and complete protein. High in protein, fiber, and loaded with other nutrients.

Dates – My favorite food to use as a natural sweetener in recipes because it has a low glycemic index, so they don’t spike your blood sugar.

Hemp Seeds – High in protein and a vegan superfood with various health benefits.

Wildly Organic Chia Seeds –An awesome vegan egg substitute that is high in protein and fiber and is used in various recipes like sweet, savory, and baking.

Flaxmeal – A superfood that is high in fiber and promotes heart health. Also a great egg substitute for vegans.

Wildly Organic Non-Fermented Cocoa Powder  A pure form of cocoa that is antioxidant-rich. It’s a great ingredient to add more chocolate flavor to any recipe.

Wildly Organic Chocolate Syrup – A simple combination of cocoa powder and raw agave. It is in its pure form and minimally processed. This does not contain any preservatives and can be stored at room temperature.

Quinoa Chocolate Protein Bars
These healthy and nutritious Quinoa Chocolate Protein Bars are a delicious blend of chocolate, dates, superfoods, and quinoa flakes. It's high in protein and is fiber-rich. It's chewy yet crunchy in every bite and has a distinct flavor of the delicious chocolate syrup.

    Ingredients
    Instructions
    1. Heat a nonstick pan and add quinoa flakes to it. Keep sautéing at medium flame until it starts to browning. Turn it off and remove from heat. Let it cool down a bit.
    2. In a food processor combine all the ingredients (including roasted quinoa flakes). Process it until it forms like a dough and they bind to each other.
    3. Prepare a square/rectangle glass baking dish with a parchment paper. Spoon out the dough on it. Press it with a spoon and shape it as per the dish with hands.
    4. Refrigerate it for 2 hours or until it firms up to be able to slices into squares.
    5. Take it out and place the parchment paper on a flat surface. Cut into desired slices and enjoy.
    Recipe Notes
    • These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
    • This recipe makes about 12 bars and the serving size is 1 bar per person.
