Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl {Gluten-Free, Vegan, Paleo}
This strawberry banana smoothie bowl is blended with creamy cashew butter and then topped with shredded coconut, chia seeds, fresh strawberries, goji berries, and cashews for the ultimate breakfast to start to your day. It’s naturally paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan!
Do you enjoy a smoothie in the morning? I know I sure do. But every now and then I like to slow it down and enjoy a smoothie bowl instead. If you’ve never had a smoothie bowl before, it’s just like it sounds. A smoothie in a bowl. But it’s also topped with a variety of toppings.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Today we’re making my favorite strawberry banana smoothie bowl. It’s so incredibly easy. In fact, it only takes about 5 minutes to make!
To make this easy smoothie bowl, you’ll blend together frozen strawberries and bananas with some ice cubes, chia seeds, almond milk, and cashew butter. Once blended, just pour into two bowls and top with your toppings.
I always use frozen bananas and strawberries to keep the smoothie cold and thick. You want the consistency of your smoothie bowl to be much thicker than you would a regular smoothie. That way it can hold up the toppings without them sinking to the bottom.
The toppings are where the magic lies in a smoothie bowl. Today we’re using some fresh strawberries along with Wildly Organic Chia Seeds, Wildly Organic Small Coconut Flakes, Wildly Organic Goji Berries, and Wildly Organic Cashews.
Did you know that Wildly Organic’s Cashews are already soaked and dehydrated? All the work is done for you saving you so much time! In fact, you can read more about What Are Activated Nuts & Seeds to learn all about how Wildly Organic prepares their nuts.
