5-Ingredient Chocolate Fudge Balls {Gluten-Free, Vegan}
Indulge and fuel up with these easy, no-bake Chocolate Fudge Bites! Made with just five simple ingredients, these chocolate balls are a yummy allergy-friendly treat!
Take the heat out of the kitchen and whip up this easy, no-bake recipe! No-bake recipes are a staple for a busy lifestyle and so are on-the-go snacks (or treats!) and these bites can be used as either.
Because the balls are made with the purest form of cacao powder, they come out with a very dark chocolate taste. However, it is possible to sweeten that if you like.
Cacao powder is the bean that chocolate is made from. Wildly Organic Fermented Cacao Powder is made from cold pressing the bean so that its nutrients are not lost. Which means that it’s a more potent form of chocolate.
This type of chocolate will be high in:
- Antioxidants
- Calcium
- Magnesium
- Iron
Uses for These Chocolate Balls
These two-bite fudge balls make a tasty treat or snack. They’re lower in processed sugars than traditional desserts and contain healthy fats as the base. This means that they won’t spike your blood sugar level immediately after consuming but will actually leave you feeling fueled.
They make a great afternoon pick me up!
The balls are dense and fudge-like and rolled in more cacao powder so they’re not sticky.
We use the balls for:
- Quick snacks paired with fruit to reduce hunger
- A chocolate treat to curb a craving
- A dessert or treat for a small gathering when we’re short on time
The balls are made and then stored in the fridge where they don’t lose their consistency or texture.
Are the Balls Sweet?
The fudge balls more resemble a bite of very dark chocolate however, there is a sweetener used in them. Wildly Organics Chocolate Syrup is made with just two ingredients: cacao powder and agave syrup.
Agave syrup is sweeter than regular sugar and therefore you don’t need much of it for a recipe. Mixed with cacao powder it creates a sweet, chocolate sauce that works well for these fudge bites, topping cupcakes or ice cream. Mix into yogurt for a bit of an indulgence.

In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients, setting aside 1.5 tbs cacao powder.
