5-Minute Paleo Spicy Glazed Cashews
Warning: these spicy glazed cashews are addictive!
Deep, golden brown sweetness, a dash of saltiness, and a kick of heat combine to make a healthy Paleo and vegan snack you’ll want to just keep eating.
You can give them built-in portion control by making them super spicy, though
I should have made them spicier and not made the choice to work at the kitchen counter to write this post. My hand keeps reaching over and grabbing another bite.
At least they are a healthy snack, right?
They are also super easy to make. You can have spicy glazed cashews cooked and cooling in under 10 minutes, with just 5 minutes or so of actual cooking time. Plus, not heating up your oven to bake them is a bonus!
5-Minute Paleo Spicy Glazed Cashews
You just need a skillet, 5 minutes, and a few healthy, high-quality Wildly Organic ingredients like …
- Cashews are rich in copper, which helps your body metabolize iron and form red blood cells.
- Coconut oil is loaded with anti-microbial lauric acid.
- Coconut syrup has a natural, caramely-sweet goodness that’s rich in minerals and lower on the Glycemic Index than maple syrup.
- Pink Himalayan Salt is a great source of essential trace minerals.
- Some spicy spice — cayenne pepper is high in vitamin A, aids digestion, boosts metabolism.
- Finally, Wildly Organic’s Fermented Cacao Powder adds an extra dimension of flavor and antioxidant goodness.
Enjoy these 5-Minute Paleo Spicy Glazed Cashews on their own or add them to your favorite snack mix. Toss them in with popcorn (try our Apple Pie popcorn seasoning recipe) or roll them into these Salted Caramel Popcorn Balls.
Finally, my spice measurements are a guideline so feel free to add more if you like them blazing hot! As written, you’ll find a nice gentle warmth lingering in your mouth after enjoying these spicy glazed cashews. If adding to a snack mix, consider increasing the spice a bit.
